Since I'm sinfully behind on blogging in almost ever aspect I decided to take the list post to a whole new level and I introduce you to my supershorts. Random bursts of information in their most condensed forms. But here's the clincher. If there are any said items you would be interested in hearing some embellishment on, just say so in the comments and I can unravel the madness in my mind and obligue you.
Fandom/Online stuff:
1.
"Serenity" Special Edition DVD to be released in July - and Joss posts about it. *dies*
2. If you skipped over
my last post because you were worried about getting spoiled and didn't see my squee about
j_mac179 getting me
Jamie Bamber's autograph - well, you should be all squee-like for me at least!
3. Heroes delivered what was IMHO there strongest episode to date this week. You can check out my comments at Wicked-Insanity
here.
4. BSG was awesome as usual. I love it when the Admiral is a tough bastard.
5. Lost last week, with the Jack episode was fantastic as most Jack-centric episodes are. This weeks was good fun and all and the Skate slayed me with the angst. Yum.
6. I totally am blaming
houses7177 and her double-drabble
Lifeboat for my acceptance and semi-excitement of the Logan/Parker (Larker? Pargan? *shrug*) hintings on Veronica Mars. I just want to see the boy smile is that so wrong? And
j_mac179 is really freaking out about them not renewing the show for another season. I have never seen him this freaked out and honestly, it's worrying me.
7. And what is fandom talk without a little bit about Supernatural? Been reading casting sides spoilers for the remainder of the season over at
dean_sam because I am a total spoiler whore and, I just, *dies*. Oh, and happy belated birthday to Jensen Ackles who turned 29 yesterday on March 1. *kisses

8. For the record I am behind on all of my episode reviews. The only show I have even attempted to put anything in was Heroes and even that is brief. I need to catch up on the past 2 episodes of both Lost, BSG and even the last episode of Supernatural. But Jeff is even farther behind than I am so I guess I shouldn't feel so badly. But let's be honest it will probably never happen and guess what? The world will keep spinning.
Speaking of spinning - real life happenings:
9. MY NEW COMPUTER IS HERE! You can see pics of it posing with Xander
here.
It is awesome, but I must admit I'm still getting used to Windows Vista. The dudes from the
Geekson podcast (which I am catching up on now that I have my audio mojo back) say it's alot like Mac, which does me no good at all since I don't know jack about Mac. And yes, that has been occupying much of my late night time in the past week (I got it last Wednesday - much earlier than expected) and leading to me being even more stung out than would be usual.
10. Also last week, I bought our plane tickets for the SuperVacay 2007 in Orlando from May 2nd - May 9th. Both Ben and I are going this year to visit
j_mac179, and will be going to see Spiderman 3 when it releases on May 4th either at the IMAX in Tampa or the digital projection screen at Pleasure Island (at Disney). I'm stoked. I look forward to my week at Jeff's all year long and I'm uber excited to finally be dragging my hubby along with me. Although I will miss the female contengent, most especially my darling
latinatemptress this year - but she is getting married in the Dominican Republic on June 30th and can't come. *sob* But it will be very wonderful none the less.
11. Megan had a gymnastics meet weekend before last. Our biggest meet so far this year. She is competing at Level 3 now and you can see some pirated pictures I have savanged of her actually competing
here. She still placed 4th in her age group of 14 girls and tied for 2nd place on the vault. This weekend we have another meet which is smaller in Jackson and then NEXT weekend we have the state championships meet in Tupelo (the birthplace of Elvis - which I have never been to, it's like 4 1/2 hours away from us here). So we will be spending all next weekend in a hotel up there and competing and watching other levels perform as well. Of course in preporation for the meets they have had practice every day for a few hours a day, so that has been time consuming as well.
12. Closed out the month here at work while battling a cold that I am still praising God didn't turn into the dreaded not!Strep that has been floating around here so fiercely. As it is I still can't breath out of my nose at all and have gone threw a box of kleenex at work alone, but I'm vitamining up and trouping forward.
Damn - those stop being so supershort towards the end there. My bad. I'm a babbler - what can I say?
So yeah. That hits the high points of my madness of late. I have also been making some art now that I have the new computer kicking, but that will be to come. I have been trying to be good and comment and keep up with my flist - but to be honest between the snot clogging up my head and everything else you can never be certain.
Much love to all and I hope to be a better LJer in the weeks to come.
ETA::: Watched "The Departed" last Saturday night and it was AWESOME. Like everyone doesn't know that already. I had to pause the thing 10 minutes from the end to pick my jaw up off the floor and continue (if you've seen it you know why). Seriously. Leo was so awesome and the chick, I knew I recognized her from somewhere, but I IMDB'ed her and came up flat. Any ideas? And is it wrong to think that Mark Walberg kinda played the Ari Gold of cops? I mean, he was SOOOOOO channeling his Ari.
