Just a little inside joke between me and
j_mac179 in the title there. As in, that is the most important thing right now and it's a very hard thing to keep up with. I of course don't watch HALF of what he does - his list boggles the mind honestly - but this year especially I will be holding my own pretty well.
It is FINALLY Lost day! I am beside myself with glee and as expected getting a little nervous/anxious about the viewing experience. Ben will be leaving for work right when it comes on and if only I could figure out a way to drug Brady (not that I ever would) so that he won't interupt the experience for me for even a millisecond. Megan is no problem, just tell her she can't ask questions until it's over or she can go to bed early and she sits still and shuts up. But the 3 year old isn't a cooperative. *sigh* Anyway, I'm hyper. Can you tell?
Want to provide a few cuts and a fake cut here to my reviews of recent shows I posted at
Wicked-Insanity (cause c/p is lame and I'm too hyper to be really productive anyway) and a listing of what I will be watching this TV season - finally.
Veronica Mars - 3.01 "Welcome Wagon" (Frakkin' awesome!)
Heroes - Episodes 1.01 "Genesis" & 1.02 "Don't Look Back" (Hooked me hard)
Smallville - Episode 6.01 "Zod" (You really need to read Jeff's post above mine to really get a feel for how much I loathed the episode on the whole)
Supernatural - Episode 2.01 "In My Time of Dying" (First episode I've ever seen of the show - shut up FLORA!)
Bones - Episode 2.05 "The Truth in the Lye" (Because I'm a slacker who should have posted this a week ago)
My 2006-2007 TV schedule:
*note: all new additions to the lineup be underlined.
Sundays: Entourage (when it comes back in '07)
Mondays: Heroes & Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Tuesdays: Veronica Mars (finally caught up over the summer - yes, I'm slow)
Wednesdays: Bones, Lost, The Nine (I'm quite sure I'm going to get into it) & Justice (liked what I have seen so far - I'm sure the time conflict will change, we are talking about Fox)
Thursday: Smallville, Ugly Betty & Supernatural (not caught up but watched 2.01 and liked it and think I can follow it)
I also have the means to catch up on Battlestar Galactica and The Office and if/when I do those will be added as well.
This is easily 5 shows more than I attempted to regularly watch last year as it is. Easily. (I lost my beloved Everwood and Alias *sniff*) Part of me is excited because everything is pretty much very good and part of me is panicy because of the actual time constraints and such. Like Jeff said - committed TV watching is very hard work.
And that just about does it for me today. I am all lj-cutted out. Much love to all and HAPPY LOST DAY!
