(no subject)
so the roadtrip was great...we saw dcfc and a bruins game...
the traffic was rediculous...there were so many delays that zapped our time
but 2 of the 3 hotels were amazing AND affordable and we did some great
shopping and ate at some excellent restaurants other than the applebees in
warwick, rhode island where we got food poisoning
another set back happened our last night in nyc at rockerfeller centre:
it was late, we were exhausted from walking MoMA and Soho and just wanted
to get back to the hotel, but we went to rockerfeller b/c daniel had never
been there...
in the square or courtyard area near where they were setting up the ice rink, i
took a spill where there was a pointless ledge that stepped down about a foot
daniel claims one second i was walking next to him the next i was on the
ground...on my face! my glasses broke my fall...but they broke (the frame split
near my left temple, scraping my face and the left lens popped out and was
scratched up...also the bridge cut up the top of my nose...i sprained my left
ankle, twisted my left wrist and bruised my right knee...i was able to walk
pretty good and we didnt do much walking the next day b/c it was spent in
the car....im fine now minus some bruising
the security guard working near by told me i could sue...oh those americans!
that would be more trouble than its worth...not to mention it was an accident
