We were supposed to have a meet today at Burlington Twp, but it got cancelled.
Which I was dreading because that meant we'd have a hard workout.
Even though our meet was supposed to be our hard workout and everyone was running longer events than they normally did,
I was going to run an 800 and a 400, and I run them in every single meet I go to, often more, so it would've just been a same old meet for me.
So, of course we wound up outside.
And our workout was supposed to be a 600, 300 + 1, 300 + 1, 300 + 1, 300, 300, 300,
but after the second 300 + 1 Petras changed it to 4 200's.
It wasn't bad at all.
I wish he would've kept the 300's, it wasn't that hard, I like 300's better than 200's,
and I wanted a hard workout.
I haven't had a hard workout in about 2 weeks, and I really need one for the meet this Saturday.
Although I felt a lot better while I was running today,
it finally felt like I was entirely better.
I'm so happy that I'm done being sick.
I can't explain how much better it feels to run, and I'm not stuck 50 yards behind everyone else.
Except now my quads hurt from Tuesday and today.
As in, I look like I have a stick shoved up my ass when I walk.
It hurts to sit, walk, and basically function.
And don't get me started about the stairs.
Other than that, I don't think it's right that it's possible to be so loaded down with homework right after break.
Honestly.
I can't breathe.
