I went to my sister's house for the past two days.
On the first day Silas and Aidan opened up more presents,
and ate the entire cookie tray.
Silas and I played house and Aidan scooted around
on his new Nemo 'car'.
I went on this ridiculously long run up the entire mountain
to the very top where the extremely steep part is.
Except, it's not even like an extremely steep part,
it's more like a sheer cliff.
AND I RAN THAT BITCH.
Then ran all the way back.
Then that night Tony and I went skiing.
We were going to go Friday morning,
but my dad decided that we needed to leave at 11.
Beside the fact that it was freezing and windy,
it was foggy. Not just foggy, but FOGGY.
As in, you couldn't see anything ahead of 10 feet.
When you were going back up the lift you could only
see to the people in front of you,
you couldn't see anything other than that,
minus close trees and little balls of lights.
But the snow itself was good,
even if I couldn't see the trails.
Then that night the ice kept hitting the windows, so I didn't sleep,
because I thought that a bear was going to eat me.
And let me tell you, there's nothing like waking up
at 3 AM to find your sister's 20 lbs. cat sitting across the room
staring at you.
Then at around 5 AM Aidan woke up and came downstairs to play,
and then Silas came, and it was just a giant loud
let's-wake-up-Allison shindig.
Silas and I played house some more, and he made everyone
ice cream, and we played hide-and-go-seek, and then soccer,
and Aidan was Zekezilla and destroyed everything in sight.
And then we went outside and went sledding.
Except whenever I went down with them we almost crashed.
The first time it was almost a tree, the second it was
almost a tree stump, and the third time we went
into the road.
So then we had to go, and then last night
I went to go see Memoirs of a Geisha with my mom and CJ.
It was good. Except the geishas weren't nearly what they're supposed to be.
Hatsumomo looked like a prostitute, Mameha was too old, and their kimonos
and their hair couldn't even remotely compare to how geisha actually looked.
Other than that it was okay, obviously it could never compare
to the book, but I think they did okay with what they cut out.
I just wish they put in more about actually being a geisha,
although considering the movie was 2 1/2 hours long I doubt they could've
put anything else in.
Of course we got stuck with two obnoxious black girls behind us,
who talked the entire fucking movie like, 'Girrrrrrl she acting crazy or some shit yo.'
Shut up for five fucking seconds.
Anyway.
I'm going to go get a shower.
