The last post about French films reminded me -- I just saw Innocence by Lucile Hadzihalilovic at the MFA in Boston. Highly recommend it. It's worth seeing just for the cinematography. Very sweet film, but also haunting and a little creepy. Has anyone else seen it? All kinds of symbolism going on, not something to be understood literally. I don't think it can be taken literally.

One warning -- the first 5-10 minutes are slow. It does get much much better.
