I'm sorry it's been so long since I've written. I've been busy-- I misplaced my jo-- I was....

Thank you to everyone who sent me cookies. They were very thoughtful if not a bit weird in some cases; one was rather cryptic, and another was stuffed with a poem that took nearly an entire page. I got another poem, too; apparently poetry cookies are ( Read more... )

To care about someone enough to place her concern for you above her desire to stay...it is really quite a selfless and caring action. But I'm sure she likewise is feeling sorrow at not being near you.

Then why did she leave? Whatever it was she was afraid of, I could have helped protect her from it. Doesn't she realize we're stronger together?

I don't know anything about the girl you've been talking about, but...perhaps the thing she was afraid of was something you couldn't have protected her from. Perhaps it was something...she felt she had to face alone...lest you be hurt in any attempt you may have made to protect her.

I cannot say if it was truly about trust...she may simply have been trying to be as good of a friend as she thought she could be by keeping you from worrying. Or, if it had been an issue of trust...it likely wasn't anything to with you as it was with her...she may have been afraid to trust in such a way.

((XDDDDDDD Poor Amalthea. She doesn't get romance at all...let alone does she understand that girls can be in love with other girls. Not that she really would mind once she knows, but... XDDDDDDD))
