(no subject)
Got a name sign at work! I am no longer the "new friend" or "the girl with brown hair who gives me blank stares when I sign to her".
I really need to learn more sign language. I feel so badly when a girl who I work with tries to talk to me and all I can make out is "make tea" and "mother".
So far everything is going fairly smoothly. The only problem thus far is that the job can vary from wildly boring to really fun. Somedays I work with the guys other days I clean the craft cupboard. Am also creating a new meal plan for the them, poor souls. Was also put in charge of a garage sale. Garage is packed full of junk that I'm supposed to price and take an inventory of...ha! Can barely move in said garage and most of the valued junk is under other, heavier junk. No organization whatsoever.
Oh well, sunny weather and cottage this weekend. Also Aunt is arriving from Texas on Saturday!
