Busy day for an Artsy
In honour of procrastinating my French composition, I've decided to update my journal. So let's see, my day today was....interesting. I think I slept through 30 minutes of my media lecture. It was pretty dull, the teacher kept showing collages and then she'd ramble on about texture for twenty minutes. After media lecture I had my first media tutorial. My assessment: I HATE MACS! They blow! I can't do anything on them. The mouse cord was even too short! Derrrrr. Anyway, the whole "computer sucking" thing aside, I think the tutorials are going to be pretty sweet. My first assignment for that course is to find magazine pictures and scan them to make a collage that says something about popular culture. I have a couple ideas but nothing solid.
Then right after media tutorial was my linguistics tutorial. Not too bad there and the TA seems nice, however, there's one very loud and annoying girl in my class. So far I'm feeling very screwed over in the linguistics department. My prof says "umm" 2 times per minute and girl in my tutorial will NOT shut up. *sigh* At least my english TA is awesome. Co had her last semester and praised her to the heavens.
