Last year Allen brought us back a whole bunch of snacks from the volunteer table. You should do the same, cause I'm gonna have some hella powerful munchies.

yeah, i finally talked to him on sunday. he's a cool dude. i'll see if we can do a double-team "feed the stoners" mission.

how does one get in on that ? i thought it was uber hard to get onto a team, seeing as i didn't have anyone to sign up with, or who was "on the inside" to get me on a team. :(

haha it was super easy for me:

i went down to the folkfest place to buy tickets and they convinced me to volunteer. they even were like, "you know, if you volunteer for campground security, you'll get a free camping pass". so i signed up, obviously.

another volunteer perk is that we get to set up on our tents on tuesday before the site even opens!

no, i still don't think i know what im doing....i handed in my application really, really late...and it was definitely accepted & i got a mailout or two but i haven't heard anything since....i should probably call the office.

i volunteered 3 summers ago too, and pretty much feasted all the time.

oh man yea the one thing i'm excited for is definatly the free/AMAZING food. i almost died when i got the menue. YUM/.

i'm a little confused about when we get meals though.
they said you only get fed when you're working but how am i supposed to eat when i'm doing security? do they mean they'll give me food before and after my shift? i'm lost. i'm not sure if you know

No No, you can pretty much eat whever you want. like they give out three meals a day and eat them when they come out. theres NO way for them to traffic who's eating at the right times and stuff. i'v never heard of that rule either.
I'm doing apprentising wich means i get to do different things every day. so i think i'm doing family tent and green room(backstage) and then camping. i cant wait!
