Mr. Johnny Law
So this morning I overslept once again and was late for class. I get my stuff together then speed to school. As Im going down Clark ave I am appraoching a yellow light. Not really paying much attention I glance down at my clock on the stereo and decide to take the light. As I speed up I see a black and white blur to my left, so I turn my head and see that it is a sheriff waiting at the approaching intersection. Given the fact I just got a shitty parking ticket the previous day, the last thing I need is a 300 Dollar red light ticket. My initial reaction is just to hit my brakes, which I do...at like 45. My car skids about 15 feet and continues to skid through crosswalk and comes to screeching halt right in the middle of the intersection. The terrible smell of burnt rubber and smoke are surrounding my car. At this point I am just like "great, im getting a ticket." not knowing what else to do I just put my car in reverse and slowly roll my way back behind the crosswalk. I look over at the cops and see that the driver is just laughing at me, while the other cop is just giving me the evil most dirty look. They follow me about one street then pull up right next to me at the light. I try to avoid eye contact for as long as possible, but couldnt help but to peek over. the first thing I see is the driver is still laughing at me and the other cop is still just giving me these awful pissed off looks. I drive away and miraculously I was not pulled over.
