broken holidays
The last memorable holiday I had was last Christmas. I liked having my family back together, and that's what made it so memorable. It was the first ime in 3 years that we all were together for Christmas. We set up the tree, had a nice dinner. It was fun. But since then...bleh~! Let's recap shall we:
New Year's: spent in a car! in a fucking car! for the second straight year! two years spending new years in a car! No kiss, no dramatic countdown, it was just in a car! WTF!
Valentine's: stupid hallmark holiday...horrible holiday esp. if you are single. I had lunch with a homegirl, and that was KoO...but it was no from HER. I think I drank away my sorrows...oh no wait, I decided to use drugs for that...not a smart move. btw, this isnt a real holiday!
Spring Break: Sorri, mommi and daddi don't hav enough money to send me to cancun, or florida, or some shit like that...I stayed in beautiful...Tacoma. Was supposed to be an all week party from my friends down there, too bad everybody was busy and had other things to do. Spring break...a holiday for people whose parents are rich enough to waste money on them by send them to a place where they will drink and party for a whole week...I never had a real spring break, never will!
Easter: Sorri, I have a problem with religion at the moment. It was a good time hanging out with my parents at church then a brunch at the casino..but after that, I dunno, I prolee hung out at my homies house after that...that just shows how memorable easter was.
Summer: school...and finishing up. It was fun b/c I was finally done with my undergrad, but not b/c I didn't go anywhere and I really didnt do anything...I wish I went to the Philippines.
Halloween: was good, until somebody went off on me and started to cry. Shit, all I was trying to do was help...I felt hella bad and it lingered on for the next two weeks. My character was attacked and I questioned myself, not a good holiday.
Thingstaken: First off, no cooking, no dinner. After church (I'm really starting to hate that place), we went to...the CASINO! we had thanksgiving at the casino, at the all you can eat place at muckleshoot. Then after that, my parents and their friends went off to gamble while I took my homegirl home. WTF! My parents are getting way too lazy. It seems all they do is go off to the casino. At least I got to talk to my homegirl for a bit and watch White Chicks (hilarious!) It seems like she's fed up of living at home, and soon she'll be moving clear across the country, oh but her parents dont know yet! As for me, my parents want me to move back home and thank god my voice was still gone b/c I didnt feel like arguing with them. Oh yeah, I was sick during thingstaken as well. fun fun
Upcoming xmas: I don't think my family will be together for Christmas this year, unless my parents shell out money they don't have for my sister to fly up. And my sister is trying to scrape by, so I dont think she has any funds for the trip. I dunno....
New Years 2004-2005: My parents will be in the Phils. but that doesnt really matter, havent spent New Years with them in 5 years. Whose gonna be in Washington? and who doesn't have plans yet? I want this new years to be off the hook! Gotta make up for the other broken holidays...Oh and please, no new years in car!
