I haven't been around as much for the past couple of days. My computer crashed badly enough that a new one is on order. Once I'm up and running again, I should be around more regularly. But, just so you know I am not ignoring anyone intentionally.

I just discovered (from a posting on a book-related board) that today is National Book Lover's Day! I had no idea. Glad I read both this morning and this afternoon. ;-) And, I'm currently reading One for the Books by Joe Queenan, which is, not surprisingly given the title, about his love of books (and some about ones he'll never read). I just finished listening to War and Peace by Leo Tostoy. :-D It was 60+ hours long and I listened over three months because my Classics Book Club was discussing sections in January, February and next week. It's been on my list of classics I'd like to read at some point for a while and I'm pleased to have finally gotten to it and now through it ( Read more... )
