General Happenings...
Well I get to keep my job. Yay! We have new owners now, and they said they wanted to keep me, so here I am, still working. There's a few changes already, but it's nothing that I can't get used to. Pretty easy stuff so far.
Speaking of - I finally made our hotel for my Sims. I can't make it exactly right since I can only use what tools are given to me through the game, but it's pretty damned close. And speaking of Sims - Did you know they're coming out with Sims 3? I can't believe how much money I spend on these games... It's insane. But I LOVE the Sims!
What do you guys think about all of this rain we're having? I got some video where the pond flooded the road, but when it got to a certin point, most of the water went down the alley and to the highway. I might put the video up. We'll see...
I've been putting up a LOT pictures of Tricity lately, but that's just me catching up. I don't think I really updated too many of them since we moved last year. They're up to date now, though! Now I just have to get some videos up. She's such a cutie pie...
Speaking of the new house, I don't think I've had as many splinters in my feet in my whole life as I've had since we moved there. I LOVE hardwood floors though. I'm just not used to them, and I don't like wearing anything on my feet, so when I drag my feet, sometimes I get splinters...
Guess what happened to Tric the other day? She was playing with some kids, and this boy kept doing flips right in front of her. His mom kept telling him not to, but he did a flip, and kicked her right in the face. :-( She looked disoriented for a moment, and I swear she even went cross-eyed. Then I guess it finally hit her and that's when she started crying. One of those - you KNOW it hurt - kind of cries.
The mom scooped her boy up and wouldn't let him back down, so he started crying saying "But I wanna play with the little girl!" So of course I felt bad about it. She wanted to play again, so I let her down. She went over and sat by him and when his mom was comfortable, she let him down again adn they played really good after that. He kept hugging her and holding her hand.
Then another little boy (one of my friend's kid) joined up with them, and the trio went into rooms they weren't supposed to go into. It was funny because one went into the room, then Tricity followed, and then the other one went in, all three of them in a line. I just LOVE to watch her playing with other kids. She acts so grown up, and she just LOVES kids. I REALLY can't wait for her birthday party!
I think me and Adam got something planned for our honeymoon now. There's a beautiful bed and breakfast place in St. Gen and it's very cozy. There may not be an indoor pool, but the place looks so devine, and I think it'll be the perfect romantic weekend getaway for the two of us.
This weekend, we're supposed to go to Reid's Harvest House in Chester. I haven't been there since I actually LIVED in Chester. lol I'm excited because they have a pound of crab legs for just $1.99 or something like that. I don't think Adam has EVER been there, so it should be a nice night out, even though I have to work after that...
