Yay better!
Woke up feeling loads better this morning.
Watched the sun come up over the snowy gardens here at the farm, let the dog out and watched 5 rooster pheasants in the woods.
Called my mom and let her know I was doing better, called Vera's cell phone to apologize for not coming to visit her. (She's in the hospital after donating a kidney! What an amazing woman!) I got her bf on the phone and he gave me the hospital info so I could call her myself. That's so awesome, I'll be doing that a little later.
Started the turkey stock, the house is smelling good!
Now to go out to my car and get my laundry and get that started.
Rae and PC are expected home late tonight and I'd like to have the place in some sort of order before they get here. It's always nice to come home to a clean house when you've been on vacation.
Just woke up with a general feeling of well-being and goodness this morning. It must be the farm. All that clean snow and fresh air. It's really pretty and wholesome.
I feel like I should be out milking a cow or gathering eggs or something!
Instead I'll whip up some fantastic stock from the smoked turkey carcass and make soup for tommorrow all the while doing my best impersonation of a domestic goddess...
