Why am I awake?
Here it is, quarter after 1 and I'm still awake.
I had a great day hanging out with Cindy. We shopped, had lunch, watched a movie and finished up some of my prep for next week's party.
We talked a lot and it seems we have a lot in common, which is cool. I loaned her a couple of books and we discussed others we had both read.
She's also a horror movie fan, so I finally have more people to watch scary movies with!
I also introduced her to "The Wiz"... it was fun.
We spent 12 hours together!
I'm excited to make a new friend... AND she's a coworker! We've always talked at work and she's really cool and laid back.
I found out today that SHE is the reason why I got to the hospital. SHE franticly searched the building for our boss, Jodi, and said she was scared for me (because she's one of the few people I'd always been able to talk to, and I had told her things were going badly.)
SHE is the reason I'm still alive right now. And I finally got to thank her over lunch today. THAT was an awesome feeling. To know that someone that I didn't even know that well could go out of her way to make sure I was safe.
So I want to say it again. Thank you Cindy.
.... so I drove her back home around 10:30 and came home and watched Pan's Labyrinth. It was good. Not awesome... but good.
I also baked some cookies, did the dishes and wiped down all the counters etc.
and I'm still awake. That's it. No more coffee after 7 pm.
Now what to do? Can't run the vacuume... Maybe there is something good on TV?
