what's up, what's down... where it's at
been a while, thought i'd recap
1. internship at high voltage fell through when they spontaneously laid off 40 people ... some bad financial mojo going down apparently
2. however... the chairmain of my department recommended me for a post-effects internship. i'm still waiting on the details, so, don't quote me on the specifics
3. and... i offered myself up for a supporting technical role in one of the animation senior projects classes. the upshot of that is that the piece will then be submitted to a school-wide juried competition show at an exhibition hall in downtown Chicago (and i'm presuming open to the public)... i'm shooting for texturing, lighting and rendering... time to put up or shut up.
4. 'the power IN words' (fka, 'the power OF words') will most likely happen. g. is going to be using it for his senior project at school (which actually translates to 3 quarters of dedication; pre-production, production and post-production) so... hopefully, that will also be making its way to an independent film festival near you. or at least near me, i'm definitely not feeling nomadic these days

and i'm starting to bottle this stuff... i'm making half a gallon a week now in my sink. heh... like prohibition all over again
