what a night, what a night
ohhhh man tonight fucking rocked....it was the perfect way to conclude my summer....
my mom dropped britt, john-carr, and i off at Toys around 8...and i could allredy tell it would be a great night because pretty much EVERYONE i know in lafayette was there...it was nice seeing all of my buddies, expessically the ones i hadnt seen in a while...i also got to formally meet chealsea, so that was cool...
Wrong Number was the first band to play and man, they surly did start the night off good....they put on a GREAT show....B claimed they messed up like 4 times but i didnt notice, i was to into it....if you havent seen those guys play you should consider it, they put so much energy into their set..you can tell they really love it.
Spunk was the 2nd band to play and like wrong number, they put on an enjoyable entergetic show....tis always a pleasure watching them...they also coverd Jonny Be Good, which was awsome, i like the way they play it....but my fav. song they play is "the truth about your Bush" heh....
The Rah Rah's were the third band to play...and once again, they blew my mind...i seriously LOVE that band, i dont care what anyone thinks..the music just is so easy going and laxed..their singers style and love for her music is undenyable...she is beautiful when she plays...haha (im not trying ot sound like a stalker..) so needless to say, i was really in to their set...i think thats one of the only times i have danced at a show..(not moshed..like danced danced..haha yeah) so their show was great, mad props to the Rah Rah's!
and last but not least...The Movement played their last show...it is sad to see them go, their music is so raw and just...i dont know what it is but i like it haha...my fav song they played tonight was probably "puppet"...it is on their Demo that i purchased tonight aswell (if you didnt buy one you should...its only a buck)...but i got really into their set aswell...as i always do...you seriously cant sit still when they play....heh..
so all in all it was a Fantastic night for me....like i said, a perfect ending to my summer....and i am ready to go back to school haha i feel complete or something...i dont know, maybe im totally overreacting about it all but i thought it was a great show...definitly memerable in my book...
riiiight...well my momma is telling me to go to bed....so i should prolly do that...
