(no subject)
I am getting really frustrated with this computer problem. I went and bought a new hard drive that I couldn't really afford at the moment - but when has that ever stopped me before - so I have Brandon install it and, of course, it didn't work. So we call the help line and after 45 minutes on hold we're told we need some new ribbon wire that has 80 something or others because mine only has 40 something or others. So we go back to the store and get that wire which thankfully was only $10. Back home with the new wire, we finally get the PC to recognize both the "master" and the "slave" hard drives (this is PC terminology people, kind of odd right?) the new hard drive formats and I'm psyched so I try to install my game only....now the PC is not recognizing either CD Rom drive..... WTF. So we go back to the beginning, unplug, replug, recheck, boot the pc and the PC only recognizes the old drive .... the CD Roms are gone as well.... I don't really know what to do at this point. I have a PC that I can't play games on, I can't burn CD's on, I can't do anything but surf the net. Plus I have raging PMS and I am just completely pissed off about the whole thing!!!
