(no subject)
Friday i made my way to Widener to visit Geoff. The ride didn't seem as long this time, which is good. It's like 2 and a half-3 hours to get there lol. It's all worth it though! So I arrived around 5:30, put my stuff in his dorm, then we went out on our first official date. +/-

- Sushi! Bleh, tried it and the goo factor came into play. It's gooey and slimy and jiggly, like jello. but raw fish. lol. I tried it tho!
- not buying shoes. Boy, was I tempted...
+ wearing my aero sweater i bought weeks ago lol. it's getting colder!
+ Geoff, again!
+ Finishing Se7en. Brad Pitt is hotter with a gun and a badge...lol oh crimes and the detectives....
- not being able to drive. roughly 6 hours on septa is a lot. i deserve a golden bus award.
+ being so happy i could just.....SCREAM!!!
- crying at Garden State. Good movie, but I didn't wanna cry just yet!!! hahaha
+ sleeping late with Geoff! hehe
+ watching First 48 when I got home haha. I love that show...not as much as Friends...
So my night with Geoff was awesome. Next Saturday is seven days away =)
School's going pretty damn well. Have I told you how I kick ass at this shit? I'm so smart!!! Medical Terminology begins in two weeks EEP!!! Five weeks of nothing but terms and craming...boy...I'm actually more than ready for it. I have more time on my hands than I thought I would. So studying will be a good thing to do hahaha. I don't need to study much now...everything is easy and fun. It's the hard and boring stuff I need to study for...Can't wait until we do EKG in like March. EKGs are fun. Had a few myself hahahah. It's gonna get interesting with school, I just want to start doing things I'll be doing in the field. I really can't wait to start the Ultrasound stuff after my externship. I'm pretty sure next June I'll be out on my externship, which is two months. So that'll be my summer, in the fall, I'll be working full time as an MA and I'll go back to school for the Ultrasound. I'm pretty sure I want to do the Cardiovascular one...since I have a bad heart myself although i never had an cv ultrasound, just holters and EKGs. It'll be easier to talk to a patient. haha. But I'm still not sure. i do have a year...but it's good to have a plan. I'm definitely going to do US and not nursing. I can't explain my decision, but I think I'll be happier not cleaning up bed pans. haha. When I go back to school is what i truly need to decide. The program for CV Ultrasound is 20 months. That's almost two years, so by 22, I'll be in a job and all, which is good and what i'm hoping for really. The younger the better. the more money i'll make in the future. Ya know, by 32 i'll already have ten years under my belt, which is hottt. haha. I think I'm babling now, but it's just something I keep thinking about...figure I'd put it out there. I'm just excited for the future.
My birthday is coming up!!! A little over a month, but it's ok to start thinking about it. I wanna go clubbing, but some people don't like that...but I figure it's my birthday and I wanna go dancing lol. if ya don't like it, don't go! or go and just sit at the bar. i want to go to 80s night, but it's on a wednesday night, and I have school and work!!! BLAH! I'm not going to miss much school since I'll be in the Med. terminology class so Wednesday is out! But I'm putting it out there, feedback is welcome, you know how to reach me! I'm sure some will say "No go to bennigan's" but I'm tired of the Bday Bennigans dinners! ya know how to reach me....
Also, I need a car. So you can pitch in for that. I'll take a check. HAHAH! I kid, but yeah, I doooooo need a car. I keep telling myself "don't shop" but then I laugh at myself realizing there is no Shoppers Anonymous so I'm screwed at trying to quit! I'll try though. I'll open a savings account and keep putting money in, not a lot, I do have needs. But $20 a week is a good plan...now if i stick to it.... Oh I need a license too, I'm gonna go for my permit soon. After finals next week I figure I can focus on driving more since a new mod will JUST begin. One step at a time...I'll get there!!
