I really have nothing of consequence to add... Other than I found this on Hack a Day which typically posts entries on remote garage door openers and automatic pet feeders. And I thought I was being cleaver doing aerial photography using a 555 timer in astable mode to trigger a cheap digital camera mounted to a kite.... They say necessity is the mother of invention. It saddens me that this is necessary....
