At my aunts house in nyack
I feel like thanksgiving has slowly lost its fun-ness. When I was younger, thanksgiving was this huge deal, and I would go to my grandparents house for the weekend and it was one big party. I would see all of my cousins and we would just go crazy running around, then sit down for dinner, then countinue running around. One of my favorite thanksgiving was going to the beach, and walking on the boardwalk.
Nowadays, I feel like its so rushed. We go to someones house just for the day and then come home. By rushing, I feel that I miss out on the essential part of thanksgiving.
Is thanksgiving losing its fun, or am i just getting older?
