(no subject)
another 8 hours working at the library in the morning...
i need a day off, really bad. not that im stressing out, because i am certainly not working as hard as during the school year. but i've been working every single day so far this summer. gahhh. minus 4th of july, which was very nice, may i add. i just paid another installment of summer housing, my MIT bank account has plummeted down to $25. quiet sad. now i've resorted to use the last of my bank of america savings for daily expenses, only a couple hundred dollars left in that too. hopefully now most of my future paychecks will be going to savings for next year.
*Expenses for next year*
piano lessons (with the music scholarship): $700
preferred dining membership (2 semesters): $550
techcash (dinners during the week, laundry, misc expenses): $1250+
grocery shopping (breakfast, lunch, fruits/snacks, misc): $500+
weekend food (since we only get weeknight dinners down at dining): $500+ (if i manage to go out about once a week and eat soup for all other meals)
IAP: $300
used text books/course notes: $200
trips home $200
GRAND TOTAL: $4200+
with a few hundred dollars made from tutoring and a couple thousand dollars from working this summer, hopefully i'll have a lil bit over $3000 by the end of the summer. which means i have to make at least $1000 during the term to survive the next school year. WHEN AM I GOING TO FIND TIME TO WORK?!?!?! I'm taking 70+ credits next semester, which converts to at least 70 hours of classes and homework every week. plus piano and all my music stuff. hell, i'll have no life. chun also reminded me that if i'm planning to take the MCATs next summer, the course will be another $1800, plus summer housing and food ($2200+). another $4000?!?! maybe i should start selling myself on the streets.

*the internship at MGH is awesome, despite the shitty stipend. i've learned a great deal and I think i've made the right decision choosing it over the research position at MIT.
* The Pinky and The Brain are coming to bahston later this month, Wendy's! hmm...*
*My boy is coming to visit in 3 weeks! im mad excited. i miss him like craaaazy.
*I am a big bum and haven't really started studying like i was supposed to, oops :-D
*I AM GOING TO HAWAII IN MID-AUGUST!!!!
