Hyperion Christmas Party
Mike is the most adorable Santa Clause ever. I'm serious, he's just too damn sexy in the suit. Danny dropped out costumes off early yesterday. Mandy and Luke were so excited about finishing up wrapping the presents for the foster kids. They were even more excited about their Dad and me playing Mr. and Mrs. Clause and begged us to try the costumes on for them early.
Luke even took pictures with the digital camera. He's so artistic. In fact, he did our Christmas cards and I can't even begin to explain how weird it is to say 'our' Christmas cards. There was a picture that Lorne took of the Mike, the kids and me when we were at Big Bear Lake and it was a really awesome picture. So, Luke took the picture and made holiday cards with it. Mandy helped decorate the envelopes. My parents received theirs and I don't think I've ever heard Mama sound that happy. She said she and Daddy can't wait to meet Mike and the kids and she sent presents down for us.
I can't wait to see what they bought for the kids. I bet it's something really awesome.
Once we got to the hotel, it was like walking into chaotic fun. Dylan and Rhia were being kind of picky about the caterers which amused Mike to no end. The kids ran off to see Lorne, Donkey and Taylor and we helped everyone finish up decorating.
The looks in all those children's eyes when they came in for the party? It was amazing and I'm so glad we're able to help make their holidays special. This is the best feeling ever and really is the true meaning of Christmas.
