Clarifying my post a little bit about the praying

So the daycare just moved to its shiny new, much larger location on Monday. They have also now "partnered" with my employer, a STATE organization, FYI. Anyway, Monday was the 2 weeks we were going to give them to get the prayer thing worked out. What are your state laws? I know here in Canada, it's illegal to pray in school, or mention god, or anything. We've got so many different family belief systems, and quite frankly Christianity does not begin to cover all of them.

The reason I ask, is so that you could bring them some state laws, and say, "Look, I'm not saying this because I'm being difficult. You need to know how this is entirely inappropriate on so many levels." You could also find away to send out the message to all the parents at the school that they are saying a Christian prayer during the children's time there. I mean, really, they should be getting permission for that. It's awfully sick to assume everyone loves and wants to pray to jesus, and it's even more wrong to push it on innocent children.

I also have a HUGE issue with how they are dealing with Andrew. Eventually, the kids are going to notice, and I'd want to make sure that the owners have a good plan on how to deal with him being teased because they don't want to stop praying in DAYCARE. It's not even a religious daycare!

I feel for ya, but I do think sitting down with them, and maybe getting more parental awareness will help. I'm sure you are not the only one who would have an issue.
