California 1
Yeah, thats right! California.
Well after not posting for so long I should explain. For Xmas, my sister, Jen, and Chris, bro in-law, wanted to bring me and my other sister, Nicole, out to visit them in California. This was my first plane experience. We had a flight from NJ to Texas, then a connecting flight from there to LA. The take off is pretty cool, I've heard stories of people saying that it was annoying/irritating/painful, and that your ears would pop or something, but no bad stuff happened for me. It was just like a cool part to a rollercoaster. But, anyway, the flight was long but not bad, when we stopped in Texas, I had a little bit of time to kill so I caught some McDonalds in the airport mall. The clouds, sky, and earth from the plane view is so awesome. To be able to go above the clouds, and see the earth from different dimensions than the usual one, it was just fucking amazing, haha. The night before we left, I bought an iPod, so I could make the trip go by that much faster. Alright, I'm getting all sidetracked, but the flight wasn't bad, then we finally got off at LA, met Jen & Chris, then went back to their place, and had a nice scenic drive of Cali. There are palm trees everywhere, the whole terrain is very hill-y, very mountonous, but extremely awesome. I guess you could call the excessive use of the words "awesome", "amazing", and "incredible", culture shock. The extent of my travel before this entire trip has been Pennsylvannia, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware (well, once to Florida too, but, I don't think I was old enough for that to count, haha). So this trip in particular is the first of its kind, and its fucking rocking. We get to their place, right on the pacific coast(literally), its a beautiful apartment building two sidewalks away from the beach. They have sliding glass doors that open onto a shared deck for the building that looks directly at the coast. It really is ridiculously beautiful, something out of a brouchure, or a dream, or something. Oh, btw, to get the dates and whatnot in order, we left on Sat. April 7th 1 30(NJ), and arrived 6 05(CA), but it was really 9 05(NJ), a long ass flight! The night we arrived we hung out for a while, then went to Riviera for dinner (awesome Mexican food). Yesterday, we all got up at about 9 and wanted to play the day by ear, eventually we figured to go to Laguna. A really beautiful beach, where we had lunch at an awesome corner place, followed by cookies at a cool bakery, and topped with sight seeing. Come to think of it, I should really start taking my camera with me, unfortunatley it won't be able to upload from here, cuz my dumb camera needs its dumb program, but yeah, I'm going to get on the camera action and when I get home, I'll upload the motherload. After Laguna, we chilled back here(there place) for a bit, a while later Jen brought me and Nicole out for some supplies(deodorant, personal shit, etc.) where I picked up a bathing suit, and when we got back we were all able to have some drinks by the shared hot tub that their building has, right on the coast, it was a really sweet deal. Today and I believe for the next day or two, we're going to VEGAS!! haha this is going to be awesome, I still have yet to gamble since I've turned 21, and my first time, I'm going to Las Vegas, unreal man, unreal. I sincerely hope that my stream of thought hasn't come off too jumbled, I should collect my thoughts better for the next update, and, oh yeah, stock up on pictures. I sorta miss my friends already, but its cool, I've got my phone if I want to KIT. Alright thats all for now, til next update.
