Tutorial

Alright, here's a quick little tutorial, as requested.

It's pretty simple, nothing fancy or anything.

Okay, you're going to start with this.

Then go to Layers > Duplicate.
Select the top layer, Layers > Properties > Screen.
You should now have this.

Now go to Layers > Merge > Merge All (I don't know if this is necessary, I just always do it.)
Next, you're going to duplicate the layers again, so Layers > Duplicate.
This time, you're going to choose Layers > Properties > Hard Light.
Now you should have something like this.

Almost done. Now create a new raster layer and choose the fill tool.
Fill it in with a navy color, I usually use #000040.
Now set it to Layers > Properties > Exclusion.
You should have this.

Alright, now you're going to create a new raster layer again and fill it with a brown color, I like #655a47.
This time, set it to Layers > Properties > Darken (opacity 50).
Now merge all and sharpen.
Tada! The finished product.
