WOW.
I seriously have the world's most complicated life. Ok, I take that back. It's not complicated at all... well, no. I take that back, too. Point is, everything in my life is complicated. And, it sucks.
I've decided to leave the ever so popular, ever thriving bank WAMU/CHASE and go to Wells Fargo. Who knows if it's better, but I can't stand WAMU. When they asked me why I was making the switch, I jokingly told the teller, "Because you guys keep changing your name."
Anyways... this has been the most confusing process ever. Maybe I just made it confusing for myself... check it out:
1- Set up new account w/ said bank.
2- Writing myself a check from old account, to transfer into new account.
3- Check takes a decade to clear.
4- Need to make purchase, uses old bank ATM card. thus, removing funds that are to be transferred.
5- Writes check from new bank, to replace funds removed.
6- Finally cleared.
7- Close old account.
8- ADDITIONAL REMOVAL OF FUNDS FROM NEW ACCOUNT.
9- Calls WAMU. Have to wait, maybe another decade, to receive check in mail.
10- BROKE. BROKE. BROKE.
