1) Have you ever felt that maybe you should be a diffent church?
Yes. but then when I go back to my church, I know I belong there!:)
2)What is so different about the Catholics? Anything major?
One big difference between Catholic Christianity and non-Catholic Christianity are the ideas of Sola Scriptura and Sola Fida. Sola Scripture is the idea of "Bible Alone" but that logic is faulty because the first Christians didn't have all of the New Testament. They relied on the teachings of the Apostles (Sacred Tradition), not only that but the Catholic Church is the one that put together the Bible.
Sola Fida is the idea of: We are saved by "Faith Alone". This is faulty logic because in the bible it says that 'faith without works is dead'. I think the big difference between Catholic and non-Catholic is what entails being 'Saved' non-Catholicism seems to put together Redemption & Justification to mean the same thing, but Catholicism knows them to be two different things...Lifeteen.com
Then theres the whole confession thing.."If anyone sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and he will give him life. This is only for those whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that is not deadly." 1 John 5:16-17...
We also believe in the Eucharist...Jesus Christ's Body and Blood under the appearance of bread and wine.:)..Further explanation for any of these..ask!
