time for change
happy thanksgiving everyone.
much to be thankful for this year. it was just the five of us- kinda quiet. after dinner the fam and i walked and played football then came home and played scrabble. it was really nice. neighbors came over for dinner- was cute; it turned out the 'apple pie' they bought actually had pineapple in it (haha). catherine came over :) and since they we've just been hanging out.
the weather today was beautiful. i love the slightly windy, beautiful, almost chilly weather. :) i hope this december is going to be a colder one.
ah yes, i finished reading the book obasan. amazing novel, i must say. some of its contents were excessive like the overpowering theme of the Japanese opression during the war, but more suttle themes and symbolism were awesome. beautiful novel.
well im off to go digest and watch some of la tele. g'night.
