We DID have an earthquake this time...

I was recently telling one of my friends that I started having some like, paranoid fears about having an earthquake while Ben and I were living in the apartment on Stark St. I loved that apartment, but it was not a safe place to be if we had an earthquake. It was over 100 years old and had cracks running up the walls and along the ceiling: a recipe for a Kat and Ben sandwich (we were on the 2nd of 3 floors.)

I started waking up in the middle of the night feeling earthquakes. I would lay awake in bed before waking Ben up to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Many times it was just the cat scratching. Sometimes it was nothing.

I haven't had one since we moved here because my fears of being sandwiched in a huge old apartment complex have been quashed.

Last night I thought my fears were coming back. But it turns out-we actually did have an earthquake!!
