Ben's job is so fucking lame.
He can never call in sick because there is no one to cover him because it's a small business. Which also means he can never get days off.
However, he can get extra days of work unexpectedly.
We stupidly agreed for him to go to salary which means now he's working for $3 per hour.
He works his ass off. We get to cancel plans constantly. Elliot never sees his father. I get an overworked, overtired husband. And even that I get rarely.
It's fucking lame.
So he's part owner of the catering side of the business. What does that mean? More tax liability (small business owners get ass raped), more hours, piddly return. It's so not worth it and makes it even harder (complicated) to just walk away.
