Mid Memorial weekend.
It's Sunday morning. I woke up ultra early and have already went shopping for the days activities.
Katy and I took Buddy and Betty to Potato Creek yesterday. We found an abandoned path, overgrown with weeds and flowers that lead to something much bigger than a pond. It was quiet and no one was there. The dogs swam their hearts out. It must have been the greatest day of their lives. I'm not sure I have ever seen them have so much fun. I'm sure just being together again helped, also.
Ray and I rode our scooters to the Albaugh's and enjoyed a cook out. I have gotten more sun than anticipated. I plan on sunscreen for the rest of the summer.
I feel so much better. I woke up Friday morning and my cold seemed to have disappeared.
