[1] Whats your view on using sex to sell music? well. mostly everyone does it. and likes it. and that's why it's so marketable. people will do what they want to get what they want, so why make such an issue?
[2] What do you think about thetruth.com ads? do they still have those around? i honestly don't watch many commerials, but i haven't seen one of those in a while. i thought the ones where they said things like "when little billy's mom asks you what you were doing while he drowned in the pool, just tell her you were getting high." were pretty funny.
[3] Have you ever watched porn? What's your opinion? yeah. is it weird that my boyfriend and i watch porn together? i mean. it's not always a sexual thing, we watch it for shits and giggles too. i guess i'm pretty open when it comes to sexuality. so porn = thumbs up.
[4] What's your opinion on "reality" shows? well, they're quite clever. do you know how easy and cheap it is to create a reality show, as opposed to having to pay for countless sets, actors, script writers, etc., and people are eating this shit up. i'm even prone to watching nanny 911 (it's good birth control)
[5] Do you believe that TV and the general view of the public has desensitized us to emotion as a species?i wouldn't say that the entire spectrum of emotion has been desensitized. i think that on one hand, some people have become desensitized to violence because of video games and television shows and the news, but on the other hand, there are those people who are now overly fearful of the world because all they see is destruction and crime and not much of the good is being represented.
Politics/Opinion
[1] Are you pro-choice or pro-life? pro-choice. i know it's cliche, but a woman should be entitled to do what she wants with her body. and i don't even mean "only if it was because she was like raped or something" even if she just fucked up, fuck ups do happen, and sometimes people can't afford fuck ups. i don't agree, however, with using abortion as a form of birth control.
[2] What's your opinion on under-age drinking? that's been my past time for the past 7 years, i don't enjoy getting hammered or anything, but i think if you're mature enough to handle yourself under the influence, who cares if you're 21?
[3] What are your thoughts on war? i don't agree with how this whole situation has been handled. however, there are still u.s. troops out there and they need our support. eh. i'm not very political :-/
[4] Which political party do you favor and why? i can't tell you, i don't really find myself within a certain party, i really take it issue to issue, i'm a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll, you know? i'm leaning a little left though. power to the people.
[5] What do you think about gay marriages? i enjoy it. i have a lot of gay/lesbian friends, so what, they can't procreate,that doesn't mean they shouldn't have the same rights as everyone else when it comes to the person they love.
[6] What is your opinion on racism? it's pretty lame, i'd have to say. i've grown up in a closet racist family, like i know many suburban white kids have. and i think it's stupid. what's so funny about peace love and understanding? (props to those who catch the reference).

[1] If you could get away with anything, what would you do? i would pack up all my shit, steal my boyfriend and best friend away from their responsibilities and go from state to state across the country, just meeting people and experiencing life from the other side of the fence and stuff. because i'm really really restless where i am right now and all i can think about is what would happen if i just left.
[2] If given the choice would you choose knowledge of what is to come, or spontaneity? spontaneity. that's what i strive for everyday of my life. i think that's why i'm going crazy, because all i'm doing is going to school, or going to work, or whatever, and it's the same everyday. i'm probably gonna throw a nutty one day or something.
[3] Would you kill someone for a sum of money? no. i have a hard enough time eating steak that is too raw.
[4] If you had to lose your eyesight or your hearing, which would it be and why? i think my hearing. i don't know. i find beauty in silence. and i love art, so i'd be pretty bummed if i couldn't see.
[5] If you had three wishes (excluding wanting more wishes), what would they be? -getting a huge fucking plot of land so all my friends could have their own places to live, because then i wouldn't live in a crappy apartment and they wouldn't live in one hotel room. then i'd wish for a cure for cancer because it's plagued my family and a lot of other people's families for too long, and chances are i'm going to get it one day. thirdly, i would wish... i don't know. the whole world to break out into song and dance. it would really help us take a break from monotony of war and poverty. i hope everyone is aware that i am not entirely serious.
[6] Do you choose to believe in religion/God? i believe there is a higher power, but i don't think anyone can personify what that higher power is because it is superior to us, therefore we can't really truly understand it.
Hypothetical and Personal
[1] Do you care what others think of you? i'm sure everyones a little self-concious now and then. i try not to let others opinions bother me, though.
[2] Explain the perfect school day (classes, students, etc.): a class where no ones cell-phone goes off and no one asks dumb questions that could've been answered if they weren't too busy staring at their laptops, and where the teacher speaks english fluently, and is able to teach, rather than read to you the text books. oh. and no history or math. i really suck in those departments.
[3] Do you read or write often? well i'm a journalism major, so i write a lot of articles and editorials and crap, but i also write poetry occasionally, i was never talented enough to write songs though. i love to read, a couple personal favorites are girl walking backwards, pretty much all irvine welch and roald dahl, the virgin suicides, and a lot of chuck palahniuk.
[4] Why are you joining this community? i like voicing my opinion, and i like being in an active community with interesting people.

[11] How old were you when you realized you were going to die? i don't remember that. what i do remember is the first time i feared death. it was at a sleep over with this girl i knew who has MS, and she just started talking about what might happen when we die. like. what if there is nothing afterwards, that we just stop. yeah.
