When: Today
Who: Billy/Liv
Billy is getting more and more worried and finally just has to go and find Liv. He books a flight to LA and is on his way there right on the next day. As he arrives he realises that he has no idea where to find her, but tries with calling her, hoping she will pick up.
Liv is surprised to feel her phone vibrating. It had only been a day or so since she turned it back on. She looks at the caller ID, and, seeing that it's Billy's mobile calling, she answers. "Hi Billy."
"Liv" Billy lets out a sigh of relieve as he hears Liv’s voice. "Where are you?"
"In LA. Why?"
"I am in LA too. Could we meet up somewhere? I am worried and really want to talk to you." Billy says without much beating around the bush.
Liv's a bit thrown with Billy's straightforwardness. "Ahh... Yeah I guess so. Did you want to come over to my hotel?"
"Sure, just tell me where it is, and I will be right with you"
"Alright." Liv gives Billy the address and directions to the hotel. "I'll be here."
"See you in a few" Billy hangs up and makes his way to Liv’s hotel. It takes way to long for his taste and he is glad when he is finally there. He knocks at her door and waits for her to answer.
Liv looks through the peephole first before answering the door. She ushers Billy in quickly, still paranoid about the paparazzi finding her again.
Billy get in quickly then turns around to Liv. "Hey" He smiles. "How are you?" He knows it is a bad question, but he can't think of anything else to say.
"Billy..." It's about all she can say before the tears start to flow. She'd been good about keeping the tears inside, but she can't hold them back anymore.
Billy instinctively pulls Liv into a tight embrace, manoeuvring her to the couch. He just holds her and strokes over he back and head soothingly, but not saying anything to give her the time that she needs.
Liv stays there a long time, crying and shivering in Billy's arms, before she's able to even look at her friend.
"I should have come earlier. You must have gone through hell during the last couple of weeks." Billy says with a low voice, still holding Liv.
"You didn't know..." Liv sniffles. "Nobody knew." She tries to hold back another wave of tears that threaten to overtake her.
"I am here now, so if you want to talk feel free to do so, and if you don't want to, I will just continue to hold you."
"Thank you, Billy." Liv sighs, frowning deeply. "I... I don't know what happened."
"Just tell me from the beginning and maybe we can find out what happened." Billy suggests, hoping that he will be able to help Liv.
Liv tries not to snort. "The beginning... When Tyler died?"
"Let’s start there then if you want to. I brought lots of time with me"
"He blamed me for it, Billy. He blamed me for Tyler's death. And I agreed with him. That's when he started to run away."
"Oh God, I never knew" Billy says with a frown. This is not the Orlando he used to know. "How could he blame you?"
"If I would have gone to a doctor when I started having fainting spells, they could have stopped me from delivering early." Liv's voice softens dramatically.
"You could not know. Tyler’s death was not your fault." Billy says with a soft, but stern voice.
"I don't know, Billy. I've tried to tell myself that it wasn't my fault, but I just can't believe it. Sometimes I think God is punishing me for something."
"I am sure it is not a punishment. I can't tell you why Tyler had to die, but it was certainly not your fault and it was certainly not to punish you."
Liv looks up at Billy with watery, red-rimmed eyes, and nods, wanting to believe him.
"I know what you are going through and I know how hard it is not to believe that it is some kind of punishment, but you’ll just have to believe me."
"I... I do believe you, Billy." Liv knows that Billy understands, better than anyone else, in fact.
"So what happened after Orli ran away?" Billy asks softly, not pressing Liv to answer him.
It takes her a moment to formulate a reply. "I eventually got tired of waiting around for him, so I went back to New York. But then... I couldn't take it. I missed him so much. I still miss him, Billy. So I came back to LA to find him."
"I know that you miss him." Billy says softly, never stopping to stroke Liv soothingly. "Did you find him?"
Liv nods. "Yeah. But then he ran away again. And I haven't seen him since."
"What did he say when you found him?"
"He... He told me to leave." Liv's voice cracks with a sob.
"Gosh" Billy pulls Liv close again to hold her while she cries.
"I... I can't, Billy. I can't leave him." Liv says as she cries, almost rocking in Billy's arms.
"But it can’t go on like this. He is hurting you with the way he acts and I know that he is hurting too."
Liv shakes her head repeatedly, curling herself into a ball. "I thought he loved me..." Liv whispers.
Billy has no idea what to say to that. "I am sure he loves you" He says and in immediately curses himself for saying such platitudes.
Liv sighs, feeling exhausted now from crying.
"Do you want me to try and talk to him again?"
Liv nods. "Yes... Please."
"I promise I will. Though I can't promise he will let me in again" Billy frowns, remembering their last talk that did not go too well.
"If you can find him..." Liv mumbles.
"I am sure I can. I am good at finding stuff" Billy smiles a bit.
Liv has to smile too. "Yeah, you are." She covers her mouth to hide a yawn.
"Maybe you should go to bed and have a nap, you seem to be pretty exhausted. I can stay here if you want me to, or try and find Orli."
Liv nods, agreeing about taking a nap. "Would you... look for him?" She asks meekly.
"I will. Just let me make sure you are really taking nap." He smirks and walks Liv to her bed.
"Yes sir." Liv teases back at him. She easily falls into bed. "Thank you, Billy."
"You know that I am always here for you" Billy says and waits for Liv to fall asleep before making his way to find Orli.
