today i went to nicks at 2...hung out with him, kat, and ryan. it was fun. that kid is the best. stayed there till like 8ish. now im home babysitting nathan,
the phone was was them telling jessica that his blood work came in and he tested postivite for cystic fibrosis! not good.
Cystic fibrosis is a chronic, progressive condition that primarily affects the body's respiratory and digestive systems. It is due to a gene defect that causes the body to produce abnormally thick mucous.
People who have cystic fibrosis produce abnormally thick, sticky mucus, which clogs the lungs and leads to recurring lung and sinus infections and difficulty breathing. Reduced oxygen in the blood also leads to a characteristic rounding and enlargement of the nail bed in the fingers and toes, called clubbing. Those with the disease may also develop a barrel-shaped chest as a result of their increased work to breathe. These repeated infections often lead to fleshy growths inside the nose, called nasal polyps
he looks too healthy to be sick :(
i just hope he doesnt have it. id be soo sad.
