I've been re-watching season 1, trying to get my Big Love fix recently and I wanted to see if someone could clarify something for me that I've never understood--- Why does Nicki keep taking her birth control pills after she says she wants to get pregnant? I figured she wanted to get pregnant so that she could show bill how "important" she was after the whole debt thing, or so that she could get all of his attention for awhile, but then she keeps taking the birth control pills. It seems like that would be counter-productive. Sure, she got some extra nights with Bill, but now they'll think she can't get pregnant. Right? Especially with Margie being pregnant.
And with that comes another question.... was Margie trying to get pregnant of was it just a happy accident?
