Lazy Sundays are the best kind

The first week back to work was pretty relaxed.  Not too much going on at the moment.  I'm working on a brochure for one of our major products and have been since before Christmas.  I had to get it done as soon as possible because the English version had to be sent to China to be translated into Chinese (we always have German, English and Chinese versions of everything).  Anyway, I worked my butt off on this translation, getting it done on Tuesday.  I send it off to the colleague who coordinates these things.  The next day, I get an email back from her.  "Thanks for the English version, but as it turns out, Guo is going to be doing the Chinese version, not Sunny.  Could you send me the German Word file? [The brochure was a pdf and  I had formatted it into Word. It takes a bit of work to move that text since the paragraphs and captions tend to be out of order if you just do a select-all and copy-paste. ]   Guo does German to Chinese, not English".  Argh!

Well, better get another load of laundry in.  Hanging clothes up to dry on the clothes rack is the only thing that keeps any moisture in the air in this apartment.  It's been below freezing for nearly a month straight and without any precipitation at all.  The air is so dry that our cat crackles when you pet him.  It's really killing my skin, I itch all over and my hands are starting to look like old lady hands, even though I moisturize them.  So though I often bitch about not having a drier, hanging up clothes to dry does have it's advantages.  Until Kürbis decides the clothes would look nicer on the floor and pulls them down.

Well, the second run of the men's slalom should be on directly.  Later!
