I had a monumental idea this morning, but I didn't like it.
Hello all, it's been a month or so. The weather is cold and rainy, but I don't mind that so much. Mostly because I'm the freak who prefers winter to summer and cold weather to warm/hot weather. Although, I don't hate the sun (as some people believe), I just hate it that the sun makes everything so hot!
Anyway, other things:
Wil Wheaton met John Barrowman at a convention last weekend and then this happened: in which John Barrowman sweeps Wil Wheaton off his feet | WIL WHEATON dot NET
I might have squeaked a little bit when I saw that picture. Hehehe.
Also last weekend at the same con, J. Michael Straczynski did a Q&A where he (among other things) finally revealed the circumstances why Michael O'Hare (Jeffrey Sinclair) left Babylon 5.

I meant to write a report about Fedcon, but I pushed it back and back. Meh. It was a very fun and long weekend, even though that this Fedcon was all about the guest cancellations. We even had two last minute cancellations (Roxann Dawson and Tricia Helfer), which was sad.
- Ethan Philips was hilarious in the panel that I saw. Apparently, he only became an actor, because of the free haircuts. ;)
- Jasika Nicole was very sweet and lovely.
- Eve Myles was really fun!
- John Barrowman was John Barrowman. Maybe not that out there than at other conventions, but he was good. And really, really hungover on Sunday, so much that he was about an hour late for the autograph session and had a stash of Aspirin on the desk.
- Claudia Black was also awesome!
- Ben Browder was pretty much just crazy! There were a couple comments in the beginning of his first panel that made me (and I think many other people as well) go "umm...", but it got better. And really, he's just crazy. And apparently he was incredibly traumatized by John Barrowman. At one point Ben poured water from his water bottle all over the stage to exorcise Barrowman from the stage. Or something. At that point, Claudia had to interfere and make him stop, because of all the wires and tech all over the stage!
- John Barrowman and Ben Browder:
As the story goes, Ben Browder had his room right next to John's, when suddenly Friday at 4:30 in the morning he got woken up by a sound that Ben described as "a goat being slaughtered" from John's room. He looked out of the window and then he saw "things" from John's room.
Asked about that, John said that he and Eve put on some loud music and danced to it naked. Ben's comment about that was, "That's what he told you???".
By the end of the convention they apparently kissed and made up. Literally. At the closing ceremony Ben kissed John. On the lips. And then John fainted. ;D
- The joined panels of Ben Browder and Claudia Black and also the one with John Barrowman and Eve Myles were awesome. Really fun and they have great chemistry together.
- The Starship Troopers panel with Casper van Dien, Dina Meyer and Patrick Muldoon was so, so funny. They hardly got through any of the questions and some of the people who asked questions had to go up on stage and sit with the actors (what hardship!) to ask their questions. They even got massages from the actors! It was really fun. :)
- I saw also panels with Gigi Edgley, Patti Yasutake, Matt Frewer, Linda Park, Colin Ferguson and Anthony Montgomery. They were all nice and cool. I also bought Anthony Montgomery's comic book, but I haven't read it yet.
- Saturday was a pretty lame day, because hardly anything happened that day. There was the first autograph session, which I couldn't go to because my con number was so high. But we found us a place in some corner and played table top games on the floor. That was fun. :)
- Apparently a very big highlight that we (
tmz_cori, mabiana and I) missed was the Thursday night showing of Starship Troopers with live cast commentary with Casper van Dien, Dina Myer and Patrick Muldoon. And also John Barrowman and Eve Myles, because they crashed the panel/movie night. It was apparently hilarious!
I'm a bit sad that I missed it. On the other hand Cori, Mabiana and I went to the late showing of Star Trek Into Darkness, so that was good too! :D
- Oh yeah, Mabiana and I already registered for Fedcon next year. This time with relatively low con numbers! Yay! :D
