bingeling and I had a great time in Birmingham last weekend!
Simon Amstell's show Numb was fantastic! I laughed so much and he's just adorable. (And Bing spent the whole weekend flailing! Heh!) He started the show twice, because there were some random people who didn't make it back in time to their seats after the break (there was some other comedian before Simon).
Great, great show and I'm so hoping that it'll come out on DVD! Waaant! Also, the program is so pretty, but stupidly enough I didn't buy one. And when I wanted to get it after the show they were sold out. Woe! I might have to get it online, but it's more expensive.
On Friday, while we were trying to make our way to our hotel (OMG! We so suck at geography! At least we were better on Saturday. /o\) we saw infos about delayed traffic because of Birmingham Pride on Saturday.
Hah! Birmingham Pride! Perfectly timed weekend in Birmingham!
That's what we did on Saturday. We went to the Pride area and watched the Pride Parade! Awesome! :D And after that we walked around (lots of canals in Birmingham, so pretty!), went to a museum, had dinner at Wagamama (so, so delicious), and went back to the hotel.
Sunday morning we already went back home! Woe!
The trip home wasn't that great, because the plane from Birmingham landed late and I had not much time in Frankfurt to get to the other terminal for my other flight home. And I had to get through passport control and security again. I barely made it!
I wanted to post a few pictures of the trip, but the underscores in my LJ user name prevent me from seeing/accessing any of my pictures on the new scrapbook. :(
