Something to think about...
Three men walk into a hotel and ask the manager at the front desk how much it costs for a room they could share for the night. The manager tells them it's $30 so they all chip in $10 each. The next morning while they were checking out, the manager decides to cut the price down for the three men and tells them that he'd only charge them $25 for the room and gave them $5 back. Each of them took a dollar back which means they now have only spent $9 each for the room and gave the extra $2 to the manager as a tip. Now here's the tricky part...
If 3 (men) x 9 (amt. each paid for room) = 27 and you add 2 (tip given to manager) from that equation, you get 29. But then you're left with 1. How is that possible when out of that $5 they each took $1 back and gave the manager the remaining $2?
