love how the colors are the same in each picture, making them reflect each other, though the distance between viewer and subject is different to the extreme :)

oh, that is really interesting to know, though the "visual distance" is still different. :)

btw, did i mention how adorable your xmas photo was?

i have a new puppy, and i keep thinking about your beautiful dog portraits when i shoot photos of her, and wishing i could do as well as you do :)

You have a new puppy?! OH MY!! What type is she? What's her name? I hope to see some of those shots very soon. I am sure you do really well :)

she's half Old English Sheepdog (a very large, very hairy kind of dog) and half Border Collie (a midsize, semi-long haired kind of dog that is considered the smartest dog in the world - they're also herding dogs - they were the dogs in the Babe movie).

i'm working on the photos, and plan on posting them today, introducing Lulu to the world :D
