4. What are your hobbies/interests outside of HP? How do you feel these hobbies/interests contribute to your personality? Well, I have a ton of otehr interests, so I'll just do the main ones. I like to plat sports (Tennis, Lacrosse, Soccer) because I honestly can't sit still for more than five minutes withut fidgiting. Also, I like the arts (drawing, painting, collages, etc) because I feel like its a good way to channal my emotions, especially when I'm angry...its a good way to avoid punching people (even though sometimes it doesn't work :o). Lastly, I really like movies. I don't know why, but its a really good way to pass the time.
5. Which Harry Potter character do you feel you can relate to the most? Explain. Which character is your favorite? Again, explain. I probably most likely relate to Ginny Weasley because I am athletic, feisty and a bit of a tom boy
6. Give us the reasons for and against you being sorted into each of the houses.
a. Gryffindor
For: Sometimes I look before I leap, I am EXTREMELY stubborn and headstrong, and I am very loyal to my friends.
Against. I am not braver than the average human being. Thats not to say I am a coward, but I am not likely to put myself in any dangerous situations.
b. Hufflepuff
For: I aim to please.
Against: I'm definately not a follower in any sense of the word, which is a big trait of hufflepuffs, and I am not that mellow or easygoing.
c. Ravenclaw
For: I am an intellectual and am very interested in academics and school, and I like to read a lot as well.
Against: I am neither resevered or introverted, and I have A LOT of other interests that lie outside of academia.
d. Slytherin
For: I am ambitious, and I can be very selfish sometimes and not think of other when I am trying to get ahead of the game.
Against: I'm not really that arrogant or conceited, and though thats not exclusively a slytherin trait, a fair amount of slytherins act that way.
7. What was your least favorite moment in HP? Even thought I really liked book five, I didn't really enjoy when Harry was acting all bitchy and hormonal. I kind of wanted to slap him. I didn't like it when sirius died either, just because he was one of my favorite characters and it made me sad. Also, when Harry and Ginny got together in the 6th book, I kind of bugged me because it was such an obvious choice...I like both of the characters, but it didn't really work for me.
8. What about HP appeals to you (e.g. the romance, the adventure, the friendships, the fantasy, the mystery)? The thing that I really like about Harry Potter is all the twists and turns in the plot. It's fun to guess what going to happen, and the plot is so complex. Also, I enjoy the relationships (friends, parents, teachers, etc).
9. What would you do if your friend was in danger? What would you give up in order to save them? Would you lay your life on the line? Thats really a hard thing for me to say. I don't really know since I have never been in a situation like that. I would like to think that I would lay my life on the line, but I'm pretty sure I would only do it for someone I really loved. As for what I would give up, I would probably give up anything to save someone, no matter who it was, excluding my life if it wasn't someone I really cared for.
10. Given a choice between fame and money, which would you choose? Money. I'm not really big on the spotlight, and you can do more with money than you can do with fame.
11 If you could only store one memory in the Pensieve to visit over again, which one would it be? Why? That's hard. I would store the dance at my camp this year. It was so much fun and the last dance was so intimate with us all crying and feeling so together.
12. What excites you the most in life? Where do you get the most joy and fulfillment? I really have fun just being with the people I love and learning. Learning anything.
13. If you were in Harry's position during the "Snape's Worst Memory" incident, how would you view Peter, James, Sirius, Lily, Remus, and Snape differently? Why? I would feel kind of a disillusionment, but at the same time I would probably forgive them eventually because I realized how much they must have changed from that age on.
14. Imagine you were an eleven-year-old Muggleborn witch/wizard who did not know about magic and had just received your Hogwarts letter. How would you react to leaving home and going to a magic school? I would be so incredibally excited and scared. On one had, it would be a whole knew world and expirience that I never knew existed, but on the other hand I might be a little scared of such a huge change.
15. If you had access to a time turner and there were no regulations regarding its usage, what would you use it for and why? I probably would go back and try to change some things I regreted, or to relive something that was great.

In the Philosopher’s Stone (AKA Sorcerer’s Stone) Neville had a choice: he could let his friends go out at night when they weren’t supposed to and potentially they could lose points for his house, or he could confront them and stop them from breaking the rules. What would you have done in his situation? Most likely I would have tried to stop them. But I wouldn't have gone so far as he had. If I couldn't convince them, I would think 'Oh well' and let them go.
17. Who (dead, alive, or fictional) do you most admire? This can be someone from real life or from Harry Potter. My dad. He grew up in an extremely conservative and narrow family, and somehow, with out much outside influence, he broke away from that all and followed his own path.
18. What is your favorite book outside of Harry Potter? What is it about this book that endears it to you? To Kill a Mocking Bird. It was just such a different time and I find people who stand up for who they believe in agaist so much adversity are amazing. Plus, Boo Radley was such a fascinatingly sad character who I could not get out of my head.
19. You're sitting the final examination for a class that has given you a lot of trouble. Your grade is borderline, you really need to do well on this final to get an A. You can see the paper of your friend who sits next to you and who happens to excel in this subject. You've gotten to a question that you're stuck on. Do you glance at your friend's paper to figure out the answer or not? Why? Sadly, I probably would. I do not respond well to failure.
20. In Goblet of Fire, Harry was chosen for the Tri-Wizard Tournament even with the age-line. Ron was unable to enter because of the age restriction even though he really wanted to be a part of the Tournament. Was Ron right to be jealous/angry at Harry? Were Harry's reactions appropriate? Why? I think Ron might have over did it a little...I think he was entitled to be a little jealous, but not believing Harry when he repeatedly tells Ron that he didn't put his name in? That's a little much.
21. Which class would you look forward to the most at Hogwarts? Which classes do you/did you excel in most at school? I would probably look foward to DADA the most, but I think I would be the best at potions, because I am really good at following precise instructions.
22. What would be the first place you visit during a Hogsmeade weekend? Why? Honeydukes. I love candy :).
23. In the wizarding world, all 5th year students are required to pick a career to focus on going into their 6th and 7th years at Hogwarts. What career path would you choose? Why? I think that being an Unspeakable would be really interesting. Trying to solve those mysteries would fascinating. If not that, I think being a curse breaker like Bill Weasley would be really interesting too.
24. In the Wizarding world, some pure-blood wizards consider Muggle-borns "filthy" and "horrible." In our world, people are categorized by their wealth, racial background, and appearance. What are your opinions on Muggle-borns? What are the qualities that you value in others? I don't care about the traits people have that they can't control. I value things like intelligence, kindness, uniqueness and leadership.
25. You have stumbled across five magical wells. One is the Well of Common Sense and Logic, the second is the Well of Creativity, the third is the Well of Optimism, the fourth is the Well of Physical Strength, and the fifth is the Well of Beauty. You can only drink from one well, but once you do you will be endowed with that ability for the rest of your life. Which well do you think you would definitely not need, and which do you think you would want to drink from? I don't really need the well of common sense, and though my most basic instinct would have me drink from the well of beauty, I would probably drink from the well of creativity.

In Half-Blood Prince, we witnessed Harry force-feeding Dumbledore the potion that weakened him, even though it pained Harry to do so, because he promised Dumbledore he would do whatever he wished. If you were in Harry's position, would you have stopped feeding Dumbledore the potion, or would you have continued? Do you think it was right for Harry to do as Dumbledore wished? Explain. I would just do what he told me too, despite if I thought it was right or not. I he wanted me to do it, its his right, and dumbledore is very wise, much wiser than me.
