So today was THE day - the day I had my interview at Birmingham Uni. I woke up some unearthly hour while it was still dark and got my train at 8.03. So after all the stops and the discman playing me and my motherooney got to Birmingham New St. at just after 11.
To make a long story short I got to where I was meant to be, sat down and started talking to some other people there for interviews. We had a tour around the building by some first years and then we were called for our interview.
There were five of us in our group (one being late :-O silly sam)and then we had write for 15mins about a life-changing experience, which we had to tell each other and ask questions etc.
NOW FOR THE SCARY BIT!!!
As everyone knows my surname is like way way far down the alphabet, but somehow I end up being first for the individual interview (I know what's going on?). So after a break I was called downstairs for the interview and I was asked the usual 'Why Physio?' 'Why Birmingham?.' Now i would like to bow down to the first years as they said to us that we should think of questions to ask Pam and Liz (the interviewers) - my how that saved my sorry ass!
So yeah I can't really be bothered to go through all details so there we go. I met my motherooney and we proceeded on to New Street where we caught an early train. (O and by the way on the train there was an old man who refused to pay so much for a ticket but then was forced to because he was going to be chucked off haha)
And so folks that was my incredible journey to the land of Brummy
