This all feels so silly, but I've sent an owl laden with packages to Malfoy. Is it proper to call him Draco now that I see him as human? I don't think so. Mum was absolutly crushed over his situation, which is odd, because she bloody hated his parents. Dad's even said some kind words about him, and everyone knows how the Weasley's and the Malfoy's fight. Its bloody madness.

I don't know if sending a package is appropriate. I'm awful at these sorts of things, really, but I just feel so ruddy awful. He was right, I'm utterly malice-less; I can't understand the concept of being compassionless. I hope that Draco's Daniel is used to owls, because I didn't know how else to send it. A muggle postman just wouldn't understand: "Could you please take this to Draco Malfoy's... erm boy's, mate's, Daniel's flat in Paris, please?" but an owl certainly does. I hope it doesn't cause an upheaval.

Malfoy, if you read this, my mum knitted you a jumper. You never ever have to wear it, or even look at it, but I sent it along anyway because it meant so much to her. She's ruddy barking mad, honestly. Also, some vintage liquour from my father and some handmade chocolates (from me). You needn't accept any of it, because I know how proud you Slytherins are. But you could pass the booze and chocolates on to Parkinson and Greengrass if you didn't want them. Because I know for a fact that Pansy loves booze and chocolates. Everyone's heard those stories...
