So, not too long ago, I wrote a poem for Alex. Literally; I wrote it for no other reason than to simply write a poem for my boyfriend. It turned out to be a lot better than any of my other poems, and I was very proud of it. So I found an online poetry contest and entered it. I only thought that if I won, I'd be featured on the website, and I was perfectly fine with that. But I have just been notified by mail that my poem has been selected to be published in a book of a series, with approximately 250 other poems. The book itself costs $19.95 + shipping, so if anyone would like a copy, let me know. I have to send in the order form soon, along with any corrections to the proof of my poem before it gets published.
