Yesterday, apart from discovering the disgusting weevil of doom and squick, I also discovered that if I combine my holidays, personal leave, and vacation time I could take over ten weeks of paid leave from work. Ten weeks. I had to ask myself what the hell I was doing at work instead of enjoying a vacation somewhere, and to be honest I was struggling to come up with a convincing response. But then I remembered that my real purpose was to use the free internet and write on company time.

So that's what I did this evening.
