HAPPY WORLD CUP DAY!!!
While it's definitely been nice not stressing over the football every weekend it feels like it's been ages since I last watched a match and I've missed seeing all my boys in action. Good luck to Nico and Flo later this afternoon but not so much to the rest of Les Bleus!
Of course I'm stuck at work like a fool while the rest of the world watches South Africa vs. Mexico, but at least I can record all the matches. Thank goodness for the local Spanish language stations; if I had to watch ESPN's pathetically biased, unprofessional, uninformed coverage of the tournament I would stab my eyes out with a rusty fork.
Anyway, here's hoping for some great goals and brilliant defending, and that the players on the pitch rather than the officials determine all the results. May the best team win!
