Well, well.

I see that Mark Davies is thankfully not permanently crippled, but of course Alan Wiley will suffer no punishment for his part in the damage and apparently has not even been told to visit an optometrist. Meanwhile the FA have decided they are unable to take any retrospective disciplinary measures against the main culprit, William Gallas, because his name is not Michael Essien. Ho hum, just another day of incompetence and injustice brought to you by your friends in Soho Square who cherish the integrity of the sport above all.

Speaking of the Bison, he has made it back to London in one piece, albeit on crutches (;_;), and will have a scan on his knee. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed that his injury isn't as serious as feared.

Instead of sinking further into despair and writing a bitter rant about how unfair it is that such injuries always happen to the most undeserving players, I will cheer myself up by wallowing in love for the subject of this Thursday's interview, Branislav Ivanovic. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ All Bran has definitely been one of our top performers this season and it's wonderful to hear that he feels happy and settled after such a rough time with injuries when he arrived. Also his little shy Russian-speaking OT3 with Yury and Nemanja Matic (I wonder if the boys call him Matty?) is beyond adorable. Also-also, I approve of his outfit in those pictures. Could it be that one of Chelsea's players can actually dress himself without bringing shame upon the club? I suppose only time will tell; best not to get my hopes up too soon! ;)

Last but far from least, I bear a special message for a very special man. Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, Moritz! Volzy turns 27 today, but I have no fear that he has exchanged his boyish charm for greater maturity. ;P Hopefully he will get good news in the form of a professional contract for his birthday!
