*sigh*

Didn't we just leave this party? Seriously, how many more times do I have to sing this song before someone actually does something to try to change things? If a remote observer like me can compile an enormous dossier of officiating crimes--irrefutable proof of gross incompetence if not outright bias--against Chelsea using only a decent memory for reference, surely the club would have no trouble producing hours of video evidence of the same. Surely it would be just as easy to present that evidence to the FA, and FIFA, and every media outlet in the country, whilst playing the footage on continuous loop on Chelsea TV and requesting an explanation for each faulty decision. Maybe it wouldn't make any difference, but at least the players would know that someone was fighting their corner, and the world would know that the club is not going to surrender to injustice without even a whimper of protest.

I found out that Mike Riley would be Sunday's referee the day before, and, after voicing a creative string of expletives in every language I know, told left_sider that Chelsea would lose via a bogus penalty awarded to Liverpool, a legitimate penalty not awarded to Chelsea, an injury caused by a typical Mascherano or Alonso dirty tackle, or a ludicrous sending off. How I wish I had actually bet money on my prediction! Indeed, my plan for the rest of the season is to place bets based on my knowledge of the officials in charge of each match. That way I will easily be able to afford bail when I finally get the chance to render the justice that Riley and his fellows deserve.

In the meantime, in order to prevent myself from venting my righteous rage on innocent bystanders I've been listening to the brilliant Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire. If it doesn't make you want to jump up and dance like a fool (at least under normal circumstances), then you probably don't have a pulse.

music, get off the planet mike riley, referees are turd, rage omg, chelsea
